Custom Rules: Custom Customer Rule
Custom Customer Rule allows you to automatically tag your customer in your Shopify store based on any customer fields.
If the customer gets updated and the customer fields was changed, the tag will be removed if the rule no longer apply to the customer.

Create new Custom Customer Rule
- Click Add new rule > Custom Customer Rule...
- Specify a name and description to identify the rule later.
- Specify the rule definition for your custom customer rule.
- Specify which customers you want to tag or skip by using the filter and/or conditions.
- Specify the labels and/or fields that you want to use as tags.

- Optional: Consider specifying a prefix to be added to the start of the tag label. Learn more about Prefix options.
- Check Enable Rule.
- Make use of the preview to ensure that the tag gets applied as expected.
- Click Save.

Conditions | Define the condition(s) that a customer must satisfy in order to be tagged, using any customer fields. If there are no condition expressions, it will match all customer. Click on Add condition to add a new condition expression to the rule definition. Learn more about Condition Expressions. |

Tag Labels | Tags that you want to label the customer if it matches the above filter and conditions. | Empty | No |
Field Names | The values of the fields that will be used as tags to label the customer if it matches the above filter and conditions. For example, specifying "State" field will tag the customer with "disabled", "invited", "enabled", etc. |
