Rule Options: Filter
Filter option allows you to only apply the rule to selected products, orders or customers.
This option is available for all custom and preset rules.
When the filter is enabled, only those products, orders or customers that satisfy the filter will be applied the rule. If filter does not match any items, the rule will not be applied to any items.

Types of filters for product rules
The following table shows the available types of filter options for product rules
Type | Description |
Filter by products | Product specified will be included in the filter. |
Filter by collections | Products in this collection will be included in the filter. |
Filter by tags | Products tagged with the specified tags will be included in the filter. |
Filter by product types | Products with the specified types will be included in the filter. |
Filter by vendors | Products with the specified vendors will be included in the filter. |
